Throughout our lives, we will be faced with innumerable challenges that can leave us feeling depleted, discouraged, and stuck. At times, the wave-like intensity can threaten to overwhelm us. Mindfulness-based counseling offers an opportunity to obtain clarity about the sources of our distress, engage effective practices for altering how we relate to that distress, and move purposefully toward valued goals.
